While I aim to help you achieve your desired brows, I have my own style and standards. Customizations must be reasonable, so if you prefer an unconventional brow shape, I may not be the right technician for you.
Booking a brow consultation isn’t necessary since we conduct one before your initial appointment. However, if you choose to have a full consult, we’ll cover:
Medical history and risks
Answers to your questions (check the FAQ first)
Goals and inspiration from portfolio photos
Trial shape for visualization
Discussion on microblading, micro shading, or combo brows
Allergic Reactions: There’s a possibility of an allergic reaction to numbing agents or pigments. A patch test is available, but it doesn’t guarantee a reaction-free experience during the procedure.
Process Overview
The treatment involves two steps, with 90% of clients needing a touch-up. The first session is lighter to allow for adjustments in color and shape during the second session. Expect to achieve your desired brows in 12-20 weeks. Two sessions are usually sufficient, but additional touch-ups may incur extra charges.
a contraindication is a condition or factor that serves as a reason to withhold a certain medical treatment due to the harm that it would cause the client.
Pregnant or nursing
History of keloids or hypertrophic scarring
Viral infections and/or diseases
Cancer / chemotherapy
Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area
Accutane in the past year
Recently tanned or will be tanned within 4 weeks
Doctors Approval Required for the Following:
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
Organ transplant
Pacemaker or major heart problems (no machine option)
Epilepsy
Diabetes
Any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the immune system
Stop using any skin thinners (Vitamin A, glycolic acids, AHA exfoliation) on the brow area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials for 2-weeks prior procedure.
Any waxing or brow shaping should be done at least 2 days before.
If you tint your brows, tint it at least one week prior to the procedure.
Cosmetic botox or fillers on the temple, forehead and eyearea should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after. for those who do not regularly receive injectables, it should be done 1 month prior or 2 month after.
DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin 48 hours before your procedure, this will cause excess bleeding and may affect your results).
You may come in with how you normally draw in your brows so I can see what you are used to. This is especially important for clients who desire a specific brow shape. If you are open to suggestions, I am happy to help design a custom brow to personally suit you.
You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle.
For added comfort please feel free to ask any pharmacist for EMLA which is a numbing cream you can apply prior to the appointment to make sure you are even more comfortable. Apply it to your brows and cover brows with saran wrap for 60 min before your appointment. You can use the remaining EMLA prior to your touch up appointment (should you need one) This is not necessary however for some nervous clients, it is comforting.
We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores, and moles in or around the brow area.
Importance of Aftercare
Proper aftercare is crucial for healing and color retention over the 10-day healing period. Results vary, and we cannot guarantee them.
Daily Care
Cleanse: Use a gentle cleanser to wash your brows morning and night for 7-10 days or until flaking stops. Blot dry with a clean towel; avoid water accumulation.
Ointment: Apply a small amount of provided ointment (size of a grain of rice) to each brow morning and night. Oily skin types may need to skip ointment for a dry healing process.
Healing Process
Expect Changes: Initial dark appearance will fade over 2 weeks. You may experience flaking around days 4-5. Let flakes fall off naturally; picking can cause patchiness and scarring.
Healing Duration: Full healing takes up to 4 weeks. Hair strokes may look faint initially as new skin forms over the tattoo. Itchiness can last up to 2 months post-healing.
Avoid These
Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun to prevent pigment alteration. Use SPF after 10 days.
Sweating: Limit excessive sweating for 10 days to avoid infection and fading.
Water: Do not run water directly on your brows, especially in the first few days.
Products: Avoid Vaseline, makeup, creams, exfoliants, and skin treatments for 10 days.
Activities: No saunas, pools, massages, facials, or tanning during healing.
Chemical Exfoliants: Avoid retinols, AHAs, and laser treatments on your brows.
Touch-Ups
Wait at least 6 weeks before scheduling a touch-up. Results take time to settle, and touch-ups may be needed for optimal shape and density. Multiple sessions may be required for desired results, especially for darker or oilier skin types.
Long-Term Care
No Guarantees: Results vary by skin type and care. Use SPF 50 to protect your brows; sun exposure causes fading.
Maintenance: Avoid chemical exfoliants and laser treatments on the brow area. Touch-ups are typically needed every 15-24 months to maintain your tattoo, which lasts 1-3 years.
What Is It?
Brow PMU involves inserting semi-permanent iron-based pigment into the upper dermis, lasting 1-3 years.
How Is It Applied?
Microblading: Uses a micro blade for hair-like strokes; saturation occurs at the end of the session.
Microshading: Manual tool for a makeup-like fill.
Powder Brows/Nano Technique: Uses a PMU rotary pen for hair strokes or shading.
Who Can Get Microblading?

Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Benefits
Microblading eliminates daily makeup application, providing realistic, fuller brows that withstand activities like swimming and workouts.
Timing
Ideal for scheduling at least 3 weeks before vacations or special events to ensure healing.
Impact on Natural Brows
Microblading does not damage natural hair; no need to shave brows.

Protect brows with SPF to prevent fading.
Avoid exfoliants and limit touch-ups based on skin type and aftercare.
Pricing
Reflects quality, training, and meticulous care. High-quality, single-use supplies are used.
Preparation
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours prior to the appointment.
Appointment Experience
Includes numbing with topical anesthetic and a consultation to map and shape brows.
Discomfort Level
Varies by individual; some experience minimal discomfort due to anesthetic.
Determining Suitability
Consultation includes discussing desired looks and creating a custom brow map.
Fading Concerns
Iron oxide pigments may fade to unintended colors, but corrections are possible.
Dissatisfaction
Adjustments can be made at touch-ups. For removal, multiple sessions may be needed with no guaranteed results.
Patch Test
Recommended 48 hours prior, especially for sensitive skin.
Allergic Reactions
Seek medical help immediately if an allergic reaction occurs. No refunds for such reactions.
We’ll discuss your desired shape, style, and color. Feel free to share photos and be open about your preferences. I’ll recommend designs based on your face shape, age, skin texture, hair color, and undertones.
You’ll pose for “before” pictures, and then a numbing cream will be applied for 15 minutes. During this time, we’ll go over aftercare and what to expect during healing.
After prep, I’ll outline your new brows for your approval. Once approved, the tattooing begins using either a permanent makeup machine or hand tool. You’ll receive ongoing numbing for comfort.
We’ll take “after” pictures and schedule your follow-up touch-up appointment before you leave.
