Why choose Kriya?

Born and raised in the Comox Valley, we've serving the the locals (and a few lucky visitors) since 2016, with a focus on clean work, client safety, and natural-looking results. What started as a solo lash and brow studio has grown into a sister-run space built on trust, skill, and intention.

We work conservatively — always leaving room to build up your look safely over time, rather than overdoing it on the first go. Tools like lash tweezers are sterilized between every use, and single-use items are used where necessary to maintain strict hygiene standards.

At Kriya, it's not just about making things look good — it’s about helping you feel good, too.

About Tanya

I started my business with lash extensions and microblading in 2016 after seeing how much time women spent getting ready every morning. I wanted to make that easier — so people could wake up feeling good without stressing over mascara or brows.

What kept me going was seeing the confidence boost these services gave. I genuinely enjoy being part of someone’s self-care routine and helping them feel more like themselves.

Over time, Kriya Beauty grew and so did my passion. I’m currently most into fine line tattoos and brow permanent makeup. I love fine line work because it’s never repetitive — every piece is unique and keeps things interesting (plus, I get to tattoo some really cute designs). Brows are another favorite — they’re so transformative, and seeing a client’s before and after never gets old.

About Jayde

I joined Kriya Beauty in 2019 after seeing firsthand the kind of confidence and happiness clients leave with after a great self-care appointment. That feeling sticks — and I knew I wanted to be part of giving that to others.

Since then, I’ve grown into my own as a technician. Whether it’s lashes, brows, or piercings, I’m always focused on making sure clients feel comfortable, heard, and leave feeling better than when they walked in. I take pride in the details — and in creating results that feel like you, just enhanced.

Working alongside my sister in a space we’ve built together has been such a rewarding experience. I genuinely love what I do — and it means a lot to be part of a studio that values both skill and care equally.
